It also has about five miles of hiking trails in addition to several playgrounds, picnic sites, lawns, and landscaped areas.

Griffith Park is also a drive away from the community and offers the perfect setting for a picnic or a day hike. Located within the Santa Monica mountain range, the park provides access to roughly 4,200 acres of natural terrain populated by oaks, sages, chaparrals, and other native plants. Highlights include the Griffith Observatory, Hollywood Sign, Bronson Caves, and LA Zoo.
